We are looking for an Experienced Registered Nurse to join our Prestigious and well Honored Team of Surgeons in the Operating Room.


    The OR Circulator Nurse provides care in the surgical setting directed toward meeting both the psychosocial and physical needs of the patient. This position is responsible for directing and coordinating members of the care team, focusing on the provision of individualized quality patient care consistent with THS standards. The OR Circulator RN develops the patient plan of care in partnership with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and patient/family. Our OR Circulators enjoy the benefit no scheduled weekend or holiday shifts. You will be both a resource person and teacher. TH Southlake's Nurses provides professional nursing care; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Determines priorities of care based on physical, cultural and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with physicians regarding changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. We expect care giving to reflect initiative and responsibility, indicative of professional expectations. Our RN's strives to maintain a steady level of productivity. You will need to be a Self Starter, Compatible, Supportive & a Team Player. Your goal will be to communicate on behalf of the patients, to reflects the Mission, Values, Ethics and Goals of the facility. This position will report to the OR Department Director, and is to be clinically competent; delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining our standard for professional nursing.


    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor Degree of Nursing
    • Minimum two years multispecialty OR hospital experience
    • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
    • Current TX RN License
    • Ability to scrub preferred, but not required
