    Responsibilities

    The Patient Registrar is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Their presence is the first impression and it is their chance to make a positive difference in someone’s life. If you feel you can make a positive difference, please apply for this great opportunity.

     

    The Patient Registrar will ensure the quality of patient registrations to the hospital by obtaining thorough and accurate information in a timely and efficient manner.  Must interact with ancillary departments and staff to ensure quality care for all patients.  The Patient Registrar also serves as a patient resource in matters concerning financial/payment arrangements and will discuss financial matters for up-front collections or payment arrangements if necessary.

     

    Candidates must possess the ability to prioritize and have excellent customer service and organizational skills with attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in stressful situations. Our team members strive to maintain a steady level of productivity.

    Qualifications

      • High School Graduate or equivalent
      • Excellent customer service skills
      • Good interpersonal, teamwork and PC skills
      • 1-2 years clerical experience; Prefer 1-2 years of prior healthcare admitting/registration experience
