We are looking for an Experienced Inpatient Registered Nurse to add to our team.

Responsibilities

This position will primarily be responsible for providing care to Inpatient patients. You will accomplish this by providing professional nursing care; coordinating care planning with other disciplines. Duties will also include partering with other med-surg nurses for the care of unit patients. Ensuring that care meets the psychosocial, physical, cultural and general aspects of care. Determines priorities of care based on physical, cultural and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with physicians regarding changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment We expect care giving to reflect initiative and responsibility, indicative of professional expectations. Our RN's strives to maintain a steady level of productivity. You will need to be a Self Starter, Compatible, Supportive & a Team Player. Your goal will be to communicate on behalf of the patients, to reflects the Mission, Values, Ethics and Goals of the facility. These positions will report to the Manager - Inpatient, and will be clinically competent; deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interact with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining our standard for professional nursing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current TX RN License
  • Minimum one (1) year Med Surg experience, Tele, Step Down ICU or ICU
  • Computer documentation skills
  • Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications from American Heart Association
